Halifax Historical Museum
Located in the heart of historic Daytona Beach, since 1949 this local museum has worked to preserve the artifacts and stories that make this region of Central Florida so unique. Housing artifacts dating from as early as 5,000 B.C. to the present day, there’s something for just about everyone to see and enjoy.
The two-story facility operates from within the old Merchant’s Bank Building and includes a bevy of permanent exhibits along with special programs and temporary collections throughout the year. Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum & Gardens
Inspiring the local community through the power of art and nature, this lush garden and museum located off E Granada Blvd provides a quiet escape for Ormond Beach residents while paying respect to those who served during the first and second World Wars.
Open 7-days per week, the garden is accessible to the public from dawn till dusk. Admission to the indoor art museum is free though donations are encouraged in order to maintain the grounds and help support the mostly volunteer staff’s mission of providing a welcoming venue for local artists to showcase their collections.
