I’m a retired educator and evaluating performance has always been part of my job. I reserve the top mark in the rating scale for exceptional performance. The mark one below the top I use for meets expectations and there is nothing wrong with that because my expectations are high. When we drove onto the Daytona Toyota lot we had no intention of making a purchase. We were comparing another dealership, another product line and the performance we saw in the people who served us. Danny Nunez locked eyes on us the moment we drove onto the lot and I was not surprised when he met us as we got out of the car. Danny listened to our response when he asked what we were looking for and didn’t try to bait and switch us into something more expensive than what we said we were looking for. Danny listened to our questions and found solutions to any question we raised. Throughout what ended up being longer than we intended (our fault not Danny’s) he asked if we needed coffee, soda or water and if we needed a bathroom break. I could go on but let me give you two examples that best illustrate where Danny went above and beyond. Once we decided the RAV4 pictured was the car we wanted we were looking at a trip from Daytona to Mims and back because we didn’t bring a checkbook. (I told you we were not planning on making a purchase.) Danny agreed to drive our purchase to Mims, pickup a check and drive our trade back. I consider this above and beyond. The following day we being technologically challenged were struggling to get “CarPlay” to work. Danny spent time Facebook Timing with us and showed great patience. This was to the point he was willing to drive to Mims on his time off to make sure we were able to use this function. Fortunately, through the use of one technology tool, we got the problems solved and CarPlay functioning. While you have a beautiful dealership our positive experience was made possible by Danny Nunez.

We were in the market to replace our 2023 RAV4 with a model that had more features than we had on our existing RAV 4 so I looked on the internet and saw that Daytona Toyota had a model that caught our attention. I then called and spoke to Marlin Kinney and made an appointment for my wife and me to meet with him later that day. He said he would have the vehicle that I was interested available when we arrived. When we arrived Marlin was busy with another customer and came over and introduced himself as soon as he could and took us outside to look at the car. We liked what we saw, and he then let me drive the car and he addressed all the questions that we had. When we returned to the showroom we sat down with Marlin and we came to an agreement on the price and we consummated the purchase. We had only made the appointment to look at the car but wound up purchasing the car. This was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a new car. Thanks to Marlin he made it happen.

If you are shopping online at Daytona Toyota, call MARLIN!! I was considering a pre owned vehicle, but I was quite hesitant because I live out of state (4 hours away) and didn't want to spend 8 hours on the road to see the vehicle. Marlin was SO HELPFUL. He answered all my questions, mostly via text because it was my preference, and was available for phone calls as needed. He sent me photos, and did a personalized video of the vehicle for me to see!! I needed time to think before committing, and Marlin gave me plenty of space and didn't bug me until I was ready to chat again. Once we agreed on pricing, Marlin orchestrated all of the necessary documentation and down payment, then PERSONALLY drove the freshly detailed vehicle to my HOME!! I can't say enough good things about Daytona Toyota! Don't hesitate if they have something that's caught your eye! And definitely ask for Marlin!

Welp…… I was just going to get my 2022 RAV4 XSE serviced for hitting 25,000 miles…& ended up driving away with a Brand New 2025 RAV4 XSE…. had no intentions of this until I was contacted by the most adorable sales person EVER ~ Amanda Vegerano~ who I bought the new car from and now I want to adopt. 😁 🥇💯 She was so easy and personable felt like I’ve known her for years.
