Guide to the Ruby Red Christmas Gala

The Ruby Red Christmas Gala at The Casements is back in style for 2018. The Casements has been the crown jewel of Ormond Beach for decades, and the annual gala is a great way to celebrate the Christmas season and partake in some holiday cheer.

Gala Information

This year is the 40^th anniversary Christmas gala, so it’s sure to be a special one. Dates and times for the gala are as follows:

• Friday, November 30, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday, December 1, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday, December 2, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

As a gift to the community, there will be no admission charge this year. There will be a pair of holiday teas on Sunday at 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM, and reservations must be made in advance, by November 17. The cost is $25 per person.

Holiday Entertainment

The yearly gala includes plenty of holiday entertainment, along with the tree gallery, gift shop, raffles, gourmet shop, crafts, and so much more. The event includes the lighting of the Ormond Beach Christmas tree in Rockefeller Gardens, as well.

A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus will certainly be a part of the weekend. Previous galas have included girl scouts working as Santa’s elves, along with live music, train rides, and a cookie decoration station. Kids will even have the opportunity to write letters to Santa.

Guests will be able to enjoy The Casements by touring the Christmas trees on the first floor, donated by local businesses and decorated in a festive manner. The second floor includes the village display, along with the gift shop.
