Guide to Central Florida Top Brewer Beer Festival

Bringing together 30 of the best local breweries in the state, The Central Florida Top Brewer offers both participants and guests a full-day of friendly-competition and light-inebriation.

How Does the Competition Work?

On March 29^th, each participating brewery will draw from a list of ingredients that includes one hop, one grain, and two other miscellaneous ingredients. Each brewery must then create a wholly new brew using just the four ingredients that were drawn.

On April 6^th, each brewery will convene at Lake Concord Park North, where a panel of brewing experts along with festival participants will taste each of the 30 participating breweries unique creations. At the end of the event, one brewery will officially be crowned the “2019 Top Brewer”. 

Along with the beer specially made for the event, each brewery will also get the opportunity to showcase their typical lineup of beers much to the delight of all in attendance.

Which Breweries Will Be Participating?

Including last year’s 1^st place winner, Intracoastal Brewing Company, the event will feature regional breweries of every size, popularity, and style. A true beer lovers’ event, participants will be able to sample from a long-list of breweries including:

• Hood’s Up Brewery (2018 2^nd place winner)
• Deviant Wolfe Brewing (2018 3rd place winner)
• Bowigens Beer Company
• Hourglass Brewing
• Crooked Can Brewing Company

It’s All for a Good Cause!

The chance at winning bragging rights aside, money from this year’s event will go towards Friends of the Park, a local, volunteer organization whose mission is to maintain and restore public spaces throughout Casselberry and the surrounding region.
