Who Can Attend?

Open to the public, this annual event welcomes friends and neighbors of all backgrounds and ethnic heritage to learn and celebrate the very best of Italian culture. Tickets officially go on sale February 11th, 2019 and can be purchased online or in person at the Italian Club.

What’s There to Do at Italian Heritage Day?

Guide to Italian Festival Tampa, FLMangia! Seriously, what Italian-American party have you ever attended that didn’t involve a crazy amount of good food, good wine, and great company? Kicking off Saturday, April 6th, Festa Italiana brings together some of the best Italian restaurants and caterers to Tampa’s Ybor City district along with live entertainment and events for the entire family. Activities include:

  • Live music and traditional dancing
  • Italian cooking demonstrations
  • Children’s events and activities
  • Annual bocce tournament

Wine Fest of Italy

Once you dance and sing off all the antipasti you consumed the day prior, return Sunday, April 7th, to take part in the second-half of the festival starting at 11 am. Open to the public, this 21+ event features bottles from across Italy’s 15 wine growing regions and is the perfect way to put a cork on an exciting weekend of food, family, and Italian pride.

Italian Festival Tampa, FLAll proceeds over the weekend benefit The Italian Club Building & Cultural Trust Fund, Inc. a non-profit organization supporting the preservation of the oldest private Italian-American club in the nation.

Founded in 1911, the “L’Unione Italiana” was created as a social club and community resource for the growing wave of Italian immigrants moving to Tampa at the turn of the 20th century. Today, the Italian Club works to preserve the traditions and culture of their descendants while uniting the wider community at large.
