The Stetson Mansion is many things. It has been designated Florida’s most historic home, its First Luxury Estate, and has continually been rated one of the top attractions in the state. The home is overwhelmingly gorgeous and causes many visitors to become awestruck while walking through its halls. But during the holiday season, this luxury estate transforms into something even more remarkable.

The Stetson Mansion Christmas Spectacular provides the opportunity to tour this amazing historic home decked out in its holiday finest. Every room features a different Christmas theme, enabling you to step back 130 years to experience “The House That Hats Built” in a brand-new way.

A Home Frozen in Time

The Stetson Mansion was built in 1886 for the famous hat maker John. B Stetson to use as a winter retreat. Back then, the home was the site of lavish parties and served as a getaway for the Stetson family. Its grounds featured a schoolhouse, perfectly manicured gardens, fountains, and a pool.

It was recently restored and now boasts five new kitchen areas, 13 bedrooms, over 10,000 panes of original windows, and much more. Visitors can view this mansion year-round other than from September 15 to November 14 when the home is closed to prepare for the holiday season.

Tour Information

Christmas Spectacular tours are held three times daily except for Sunday mornings. Reservations are required to tour the home and can be purchased online. Free parking and group pricing are available as well.

The tour lasts for approximately 75 minutes and is not recommended for infants and toddlers. The mansion has three stories and climbing stairs is required to access the upper floors. Walkers and wheelchairs are allowed. However, high heels and photography are not.

There is a cash- and check-only gift shop on the premises for purchasing keepsakes and one-of-a-kind holiday gifts! It’s an ideal way to end the tour.
