2020 Highlander: Performance and Versatility
Regardless of whether your daily commute takes you through Daytona Beach, New Smyrna, Ormond Beach, or anywhere else in FL, you’ll be pleased with the Toyota Highlander’s performance. For example, if you go with its 3.5-liter V6 engine, you’ll have up to 295 HP and 263 lb-ft of torque under your command.
But performance isn’t just about power – it’s also about versatility. With available Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel-Drive (TV-AWD), the Highlander is capable of shooting as much as 50% of its engine’s power to the rear axle; on top of that, it’ll send portions of that 50% to the wheel that needs it the most.
This system works beautifully with Multi-Terrain Select, which allows you to choose between four distinct modes, all depending on what the terrain demands: MUD & SAND, ROCK & DIRT, SNOW, and NORMAL.
2020 Highlander: Spacious Interior Dimensions
Moving on…with a cabin as spacious as the Toyota Highlander’s, your friends, family, and kids will have no problems getting comfortable as you drive them around Palm Coast, Daytona Beach, and New Smyrna, FL.
Take a look at these headroom, legroom, and other measurements, and then imagine the possibilities.

2020 Highlander: Intelligent Safety Suite
Last, but certainly not least, Toyota’s Highlander provides you with all of the smart, driver-assistive safety features that you’ll need to keep safe on the streets of Ormond Beach and Palm Coast, Florida. Look here:
- Pre-Collision System with Low-Light Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/ PD)
- Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
- Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/ SA)
- Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)
- Automatic High Beams (AHB)
These standard and available technologies (as well as Road Sign Assist, or RSA) are all part of Toyota Safety SenseÔ 2.0 (TSS 2.0). Its sensors and cameras will work hard to be your second pair of eyes, ears, and feet. Feet? That’s right – many of these features can automatically engage the brakes if that’s necessary.
