The 7,000-pound Tundra was designed tough and powerful in order to handle just about anything you throw at it. It has a 10,200-pound towing capacity when equipped with the Tow Package, which includes a hitch receiver, TOW/HAUL Mode switch, and heavy-duty battery. This will allow you to take the jet skis to the marina or haul equipment to your next job.

The Tundra comes in six trims with varying towing capacities. While the base model SR earns the highest capacity at 10,200 pounds, the truck’s other configurations still prove tough.

The SR5 model also tops out at 10,200 pounds, while the Platinum and 1794 Edition top out at 9,400 pounds when properly equipped. The other models, TRD Pro and Limited, top out at 9,900 pounds and 10,100 pounds, respectively, when properly configured.

No matter which trim you select, the Tundra will prove capable under tough towing conditions.

Toyota Tundra Cargo Bed Capacity

When hauling or towing equipment behind the Tundra, you’ll also have room for storage in the cargo bed. The truck comes stock with a 6.5-foot bed on the SR model, which is plenty of room for equipment.

Other configurations of the vehicle vary in bed size, but no matter which model you choose, you’ll end up with one of the following bed sizes:

• 5.5 feet
• 6.5 feet
• 8.1 feet

Inside the cab, you’ll also have room for equipment should you need it. The inside of the vehicle seats up to six passengers, enough for a crew or any equipment that isn’t weatherproof.
