Interior Seating Review
The Toyota Corolla seats five people. Plush cloth upholstery is standard, but premium fabric or synthetic leather are available as optional upgrades. The Corolla can also be outfitted with sport seating, heated seating, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
The front seats are incredibly comfortable, with plenty of bolstering and padding for optimal support. The sport seat upgrade offers some additional side bolstering, as well. Visibility is excellent, and there’s plenty of head- and legroom for tall passengers.
Unlike many vehicles in this class, the rear seat is spacious enough for adults. Ample head- and legroom, heavy padding, and a flat floor ensure that rear-seat passengers have room to stretch out and relax on long car rides.
The Corolla also comes with a LATCH car-seat system with three top tether anchors that are easy to find and use. The lower anchors tuck away deep in the seat when not in use, but they’re easy to find and attach.

A six-speaker audio system, a 6.1-inch touchscreen Entune™ infotainment system, voice commands, a rearview camera, Siri® Eyes Free, and a USB port are all standard. A 7-inch Entune™ infotainment system, HD Radio™, satellite radio, push-button start, a moonroof, and automatic climate control are also available.
The Entune™ system is one of the most responsive on the market, with crisp, clear graphics, large menu buttons, and physical knobs for certain commands. It can also sync with your smartphone for additional capabilities.
For safety, the Corolla includes the Toyota Safety Sense™ P suite of advanced features, including pedestrian detection, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, and automatic high beams.
Interior Cargo Capacity
Cargo space is sometimes limited with a compact car, but not with the Toyota Corolla. Its spacious trunk offers 13 cubic feet of cargo capacity, with a wide, regularly-shaped opening for easy loading.
