Toyota Camry Maintenance Schedule | Daytona Toyota

At Daytona Toyota, we want to do our best to help our local customers in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, and Palm Coast, FL care for their cars. Because of this, we’ve compiled a Toyota Camry maintenance schedule to help you keep up with your regular maintenance. Then schedule a service appointment with us whenever you need!

Six Months or 5,000 Miles

Toyota Camry Maintenance Schedule | Daytona ToyotaAt six months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first, your engine oil and oil filter will require changing. At this time, you should also rotate your tires. These three services will occur on this schedule for the life of your vehicle, so it’s helpful to schedule them at the same time.

This is also a great opportunity to check and adjust all fluid levels, visually inspect your brakes, inspect or replace your wiper blades, and check installation of your floor mats. In addition, reset your oil replacement reminder light (MAINT REQD) or the “OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED” message on your dashboard display.

Twelve Months or 10,000 Miles

At one year or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first, it will be time for another engine oil and filter change, and tire rotation. This is also a good time to inspect the braking system, automatic transmission fluid, drive axle boots, exterior light bulbs, cooling system, steering and suspension components, fuel lines, ignition wires, and reset maintenance warning lights.

Eighteen Months/15,000 and Thirty-Six Months/30,000 Miles

At these intervals, the following systems need inspection:

  • Ball joints and dust covers
  • Brake lining and hoses
  • Drive shaft boots
  • Engine coolant
  • Exhaust pipes and mountings
  • Radiator pipes and mountings
  • Steering gear box
  • Steering linkage and boots

Determining your Driving Conditions

While this schedule is sufficient for normal driving conditions, more rigorous driving or severe conditions may require more frequent maintenance.

Examples of extreme driving conditions:

  • Salt-treated, dusty, or muddy roads
  • Short commutes
  • Frequent stop-and-go driving
  • Low-speed driving over long distances
  • Extreme hot and cold climates

If any of these conditions fit your driving routine, your vehicle may need more frequent inspections of brakes, exhaust, steering linkage and ball joints, and axle and suspension.
